Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, the services used to host and operate Indie Music Math may automatically collect basic technical information when you visit the site. This can include information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, referring page, and the date and time of your visit.

This information may be contained in ordinary server and security logs and may be used to operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website.

Information Stored in Your Browser

Some Indie Music Math tools may use your browser's local storage to remember information on your device.

For example, the Setlist Optimizer can save a song pool in your browser so that you can use it again later. This information remains on your device and is not an Indie Music Math account or cloud storage service.

Indie Music Math does not currently use information collected through its tools to create personal profiles about individual musicians.

Calculator and Tool Data

Information you enter into Indie Music Math calculators is used in your browser to produce the requested calculation or recommendation.

Indie Music Math does not require you to submit your guitar setup, recording-session details, song lists, setlists or similar calculator inputs to an Indie Music Math account.

Some tools may allow you to save information locally in your browser, as described above.
